It comes down to one race to see who will advance to the state cross country meet. Runners in Section 5AA gathered in Anoka to decide berths in the meet.
The Totino-Grace girls won the 5AA team title, with runner up Mounds View also qualifiying. Cassidy Soli of Champlin Park (3rd) and Tia Johnson of Maple Grove (10th) qualified as individuals.
On the boys side, Maple Grove's team just missed out on advancing, finishing third behind Centennial and Mounds View.
Sean Heaton (6th), Mitchell Dickerson (7th) and Ryan Graham (8th) of Maple Grove advanced to state.
