Maple Grove softball team is state runnerup
Maple Grove's softball team posted shutouts in their first two games of the state class AAA tournament, whipping Big Lake 7-0 and handing Orono just its second loss of the season, by a 3-0 score, in the semifinals.

The Crimson's title dreams ended in a 6-2 loss to Stillwater Friday afternoon.
