He has been nominated for Grammy awards in more categories than any other musician. Béla Fleck shared his banjo-playing talents Thursday with students at Park Center High School.
Fleck is in town for a performance at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis.
Fleck started playing banjo when he was 15. At the time, he was inspired by the theme song from the "Beverly Hillbillies." He went on to become a musician who many regard as the world's best banjo player.
His banjo playing spans multiple genres, from bluegrass to jazz to even classical music.
