The Robbinsdale Little League All-Stars bounced back from a one-run loss Sunday in the Midwest Regional tournament to beat Westside Little League of Iowa 7-2 Monday.
That win and another team's loss assures Robbinsdale of advancing to the semifinals after pool play wraps up Tuesday night. In the win over Iowa's state champ, Donovan Hall, Ben Iannazzo and Beijan Newbern each had two hits, while Christian Costello pitched four innings for the win.
After facing De Soto, Mo., Tuesday in their last pool play game, Robbinsdale will play in the semifinals either Thursday afternoon or Thursday night.
