Pat Griffith of Maple Grove was a cross-country runner at Osseo High School, and also has experience in swimming, nordic skiing, hockey and lacrosse.
Griffith is now into triathlons, and he's featured in this week's installment of our "Give it a Tri" series on triathletes from the northwest suburbs. He mainly competes in the shorter "sprint" triathlons, and has done close to 30 of them since starting five years ago at age 13.
Griffith will compete in Walker and Nevis, Minn., over the next few weeks before wrapping up his summer of triathlons at the Maple Grove triathlon.
