A very snappy visitor marched up to the Robbinsdale City Hall last Friday. The resident wasn't there to complain about taxes or even a new city ordinance, but rather to look for a place to lay eggs.
"She had a really long tail with spikes on it like a dinosaur," said Bridget Mehrman who spotted the turtle when she came back from her lunch break."We figured she came out of her pond to lay eggs."
A half hour later, a community service officer removed the estimated 20-pound turtle and released her in Twin Lake.
Staff members say the turtle was cranky and named her Harriet.
