Family asks for help in unsolved murder

When Quincy Blue didn't come home on June 7 last year, his family called police. The father of two was found dead the following morning in a St. Paul alley. His body was burned beyond recognition.

The 30-year-old Brooklyn Park man was a local rapper who was in business school. His family is still waiting for an arrest to be made.

Near the one-year anniversary of Quincy Blue's death, his family profiles him in a haunting five-minute YouTube clip posted last week called "You Know Quincy Blue." The clip shows pictures of Quincy with notes about him along with the words "You Know." The purpose is to urge people who may know something to come forward.

Shalema Blue, Quincy's sister, is adamant that people are out there with critical information that could lead to an arrest in Quincy's murder.

"We need help from people who knew him who know something," said Shalema Blue. "We need help from potential witnesses who might know something. We need help in this case, period."

St. Paul Police have not released any new information about this investigation or the murder.

If you have any information, you are urged to call the Saint Paul Police Department homicide unit at 651- 266-5650 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
