Robbinsdale School Board: Stoffel/Boone
Voters in the Robbinsdale School District will choose among eight candidates to fill four seats on the school board. Two of those candidates are Ron Stoffel who works as an accountant, and David Boone who taught math at Cooper High School.

It was a back-and-forth battle when Wayzata faced Minnetonka in girls soccer Tuesday night. The Trojans beat the Skippers 2-1 in overtime.

2014 12 Sports Hall of Fame
Since 2004 Channel 12 has honored former high school athletes and coaches from the area with induction into the 12 Sports Hall of Fame. Now in its 11th season, the 2014 HOF special features profiles on the newest inductees: 1995 Hopkins High School graduate and basketball star James Ware, Armstrong softball pitching ace and 2001 grad Missy Beseres plus 2004 Wayzata High School alum Dominique Barber, a football and hockey standout for the Trojans. John Jacobson and Jay Wilcox co-host this year’s show. The 12 Sports Hall of Fame now boasts 46 members and their plaques are on display in the Northwest Community Television lobby.
